On September 26 of the year 1916, the Playhouse at White Lake opened to the public as the Nufer-Adams Playhouse. To celebrate the Grand Ol’ Lady’s 104th Birthday we have developed our Classic Throwback Movies series. These are classic movies that available on demand to view at your convenience from September 26 through December 31.

We continue our 104th Anniversary Celebration with two virtual concerts, Michigan Girl and Corduroy Boy and Mustard's Retreat.

Stay tuned, more is coming!

Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-183

The latest executive order will soon permit theatres to open at 20%. However, since 20% capacity translates to only 73 seats for us, we won't be jumping into in-person performances for the time being. Our decision to wait involves several factors not the least of which is that the ticket prices we would need to charge to that size audience would not even allow us to break even, let alone make a profit or offset the expense of the safety precautions necessary. In the meantime, we may do small, in person audiences for recording events (say 20-30 patrons) who could pay for a ticket to see the live performances that we will later stream. Please Contact Us if you're interested in attending in-person performances.
