Comments on FY2013-2014 Annual Report
We are pleased to present the financial report for the 2013-2014 fiscal year for the Howmet Playhouse. The highlights:
- The Howmet Playhouse presented 40 events including concerts, plays, dance recitals, youth theatre productions, movies, and community presentations. Audiences ranged in age from two to older adult with one-third of the patrons from the greater Muskegon area, one-third from Ottawa and Kent Counties, with the remainder from the Greater Chicago area and around the country.
- An average of 40 students participated in each youth theatre show.
- Summer season employed 11 directors, 13 designers, and 25 actors. Musical concerts featured blues, folk, indie-rock, bluegrass, and ragtime. Attendance ranged from 50 to 325 patrons per event.
- $61,909.28 was received in donations and grants.
