The Turnips The Turnips are an eclectic roots rock band which has been molded and shaped from the Local Michigan Folk Scene. Featuring the songwriting of Joey Artibee, a Whitehall native who has been traveling Michigan for several years playing and writing, the Turnips bridge the gap between folk-rock and delta blues with a fine array of vintage instruments and soaring harmonies. This group is sure to please any age group with their originality and their one of a kind stage-presence. This First Friday event was made possible through the generosity of the Olson Family Foundation, Utopian Marketplace, White Swan Inn, and A Finch Nest. |
