Audition Workshop
for Youth Choir
and Bon Appetit Scenes
Overview—Audition Season is Here
Auditioning should be a fun, relaxed, and confidence-building experience. The White Lake Youth Theatre is here to help by providing you with all you need to know to feel ready to shine and have a blast.
This audition workshop is open to students ages 10-16 and will incorporate some icebreaker games, along with audition techniques to help grow kids in their self-belief and abilities.
Please send children with either a poem, a nursery rhyme, or a 32 count song they'd like to prepare for future auditions, or they can plan to stay for Bon Appetit: A Delicious Cabaret auditions immediately following the workshop at 6:00 PM. The workshop and auditions will be offered both nights (see below), so students can attend either or both (workshop or auditions or both, both nights) in order to be considered for summer casting or to build their skills through the audition experience!
Please Consider staying after to audition for Bon Appetit: A Delicious Cabaret as part of the cast or the Youth Choir. Students who wish to attend auditions only should be sure to bring with them 32 counts of a song they'd like to sing that features their vocal range, and/or a poem or a nursery rhyme (typically if they'd rather not sing, but would still like to be involved.)
Details about auditions can be found below. Questions? Contact Cindy Beth via the Contact Form on this website.
